In recent years we have witnessed major shifts in the market, and we believe the current approach to using batteries for a green, sustainable future is far from ideal. Large amounts of resources are consumed to manufacture and ship new batteries for immature solutions. That practice undermines the environmental benefits battery technology promises.

Instead, we repurpose surplus batteries from the automotive industry and combine them with local production here in Norway. By using existing battery assets and minimizing long-distance transport, our approach can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 85% compared with conventional solutions. This substantial reduction comes from extending the life of batteries that still have valuable capacity, lowering the need for new raw-material extraction, and cutting transport-related emissions.
